How did PC hair company get its start?

Jayme and her husband, Travis, opened Pryor Creek Hair Company in January of 2019 with Megan as a senior stylist. Jayme and Megan had been working together since September of 2016 and wanted to have a place to work together.

What can your clients expect when they walk in the door?

PC Hair Company has a light and friendly atmosphere that is welcoming for everyone that comes in. We offer all hair services and facial waxing. Our stylists are very knowledgeable and keep up with current trends and techniques.

Tell me a little about each of your stylists!

Jayme Timmons is the owner and operates as a stylist. She has been a cosmetologist since 2016 after graduating from Clary Sage College. She was born and raised in central Kansas. She and her husband moved to Pryor in 2015. They welcomed their son, Tripp, in May of 2019 and he has been the “face” of the salon ever since!

Megan Rippe is a senior stylist with 15 years of experience. She was born and raised in Northeast Oklahoma. She has two children, her son Kolby who is a college student at Oklahoma Wesleyan, and daughter Kaylie who is a high school student at Pryor. She married Matt Rippe in September of 2020 and now lives in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Amanda Drake is a senior stylist with over 20 years of experience. She is a long time resident of Northeast Oklahoma. She has two children, her daughter Alyssa is a student at Pryor High School and son Teyton.

What are some of the most popular services that you offer?

We offer hair color services from single color applications to highlights and balayage. All stylists are educated and offer hair extension application with tape in and sewn in techniques. Megan and Jayme are also certified in Brazilian Blowout services which leaves the client with more manageable hair. We also offer haircuts for men, women and children.

What are some of your favorite products?

We cannot live without Kenra Blowdry Spray! We always say that we think that is what Heaven will smell like! It’s also an amazing heat protectant that shortens blow drying time.

Our favorite hairspray is Kenra Platinum 26. It has great hold without being stiff and smells fantastic.

A new product that we are liking is Amika brand The Wizard. It is a great detangler, heat protectant and cutting oil.
